Metro Blinds stands behind the quality of its products and installation. If you are having problems with your window treatments, just let us know. Below are some details on the warranty service we provide and what to expect when you call for service.
Metro Blinds will provide one year of service for all products purchased and installed by Metro Blinds beginning from the day of your initial installation. If there are any manufacture defects with your products or defects in the installation of your products, we will come to your home or business to inspect and repair your window treatment at no charge. If the repair cannot be conducted in your home or business, Metro Blinds will remove the treatment and conduct the repair in our factory or send the product back to the original manufacturer for repair. Metro Blinds will also cover any shipping charges necessary to ship products back to the original manufacture. We will then reinstall the product at no charge.
If your products are outside of the one year warranty, there will be service charges if Metro Blinds needs to come to your home or business to inspect and/or repair any defective window treatments. However, the cost of repairs to the window treatment may be covered under a manufacturers warranty (see below). You may also bring the product into our showroom for service in order to avoid the service call charge. For all repairs outside of the one year warranty, shipping charges may apply if your product must be sent to the original manufacturer for repair.
Metro Blinds provides a lifetime warranty on all vertical blind tracks that were manufactured in our factory here in Fort Myers, FL. This warranty is applicable to the original owner of the tracks and void if obvious misuse or negligence is visible.
Metro Blinds provides window treatments from many manufacturers. Most of these manufacturers provide warranties in addition to the Metro Blinds one year service warranty. If you are having trouble with one of your window treatments please contact our office. Please make sure to have your copy of the original contract with you for reference. Please tell us what problems you are having and what room or window the problem treatment is in.
